It is with heavy hearts, but clear minds we bring you the following statement:

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:                                                    MEDIA CONTACT:

March 18, 2020                                                                      Leslie Pallotta, Library Director

Our community is complying with the directive from the Pennsylvania Office of Commonwealth Libraries and supported by Governor Tom Wolf. As such, Cranberry Public Library has canceled all programs and events scheduled through April 30, 2020.

We are disappointed to say that this includes the scheduled April 18 Maker Faire and grand opening of The Forge makerspace at Cranberry Library.

Our team is working hard to secure a date and reschedule the faire for the spring of 2021. We are anticipating that The Forge grand opening will happen late this summer.

Updates will be posted to the Cranberry Township Maker Faire website (, as well as to Cranberry Library’s website ( as they become available.
