What is Maker Faire?

Maker Faire is a gathering of fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, Maker Faire is a venue for these "makers" to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

We call it the Greatest Show (& Tell) on Earth - a family-friendly showcase of invention, creativity, and resourcefulness.

Glimpse the future and get inspired!

About Our Maker Faire

Maker Faire is back and bigger than ever in Cranberry Township.  The mini is gone, and Cranberry Township Maker Faire is roaring back May 6, 2023 from 10-4!  This year the Faire will be held in the brand new Ehrman Crest school building, part of the Seneca Valley School District.  Time Magazine labeled Ehrman Crest one of their “Best Inventions of 2022” as a “Future School.”  We can’t wait for you to visit this state of the art building with all of our makers onsite to jumpstart your mind into the next thing we can help you create!  We hope you enjoy many Maker Faires in Cranberry Township.  Our team  looks forward to seeing you there! Tickets are free and able to be reserved now!

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine.  It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.  Read more on Maker Faire history, the Maker Movement, as well as how to start a Maker Faire or a School Maker Faire where you live.
